The 2025 Holden Beach Turtle Shirts are available!

And, the winner of the Turtle Shirt Design Contest is (drum roll please)…A local turtle lover (Lois Palermo) working alongside her artistic sister (Alyson Natale) submitted the winning design.

On behalf of the Holden Beach Turtle Watch Program, we want to thank everyone one who submitted a design for our 2025 T-shirt competition. We received over 20 submissions from interested participants located in over eight different states. It was clearly good news/bad news for the T-shirt committee members. We were so excited about receiving so many thoughtful and interesting designs, along with design history, narrowing the entries down to just one was a very difficult task.

The T-shirt committee selected and recommended a design that met the required printing criteria that was provided to the Holden Beach Turtle Watch Program’s Board of Directors just before the 2024 holidays. Upon receiving the board’s approval production began immediately and merchandise is now available for sale at the Lighthouse and via mail order.

We genuinely appreciate the participation in our first Holden Beach Turtle Watch Program T-shirt contest. For the collectors, it's time to add this year's turtle design into your turtle t-shirt colletion!
