Final tally

We had 5729 eggs laid on the beach 4950 hatchlings out and most to the water. We lost one nest completely to overwashed tides...that brought our hatch rate down to 88%....but that's still great! We will have more information soon from the DNA study--that will be able to tell us how many different mother turtles and how many of them have been to our beach before.

Thanks again to all the visitors and locals who help support the turtle patrol!
