Obstacle Course for Turtles!

Please remove your items and fill in any holes you've dug during the day when you leave the beach each evening. Last week our momma turtles had a difficult time maneuvering around things on the beach, sand castles and holes. One mother had to lay her nest in the middle of a volleyball court. Another tired momma had to dig her way though a deep hole on the way back to the ocean after laying her eggs. Please make it easy for our sea turtles.

Today was a "tame Tuesday" compared to the past several weeks. Again, a relatively "quiet" weekend. Two nests on Saturday that the teams got marked and covered before the storms. The mothers rested on Sunday and Monday. This morning the rider just found only two false crawls (#62 and #63).

Tomorrow (Wednesday June 26) will be the first Children's Turtle Time of the year. This program for 3, 4, 5 and 6 year olds will begin at 4 p.m. at the Town Hall Assembly room. All children must be accompanied by an adult. There will also be a Turtle Talk
Wednesday night @ 7 p.m. Get there early, last week we had to turn people away due to over crowding.
