Volunteers attempting to locate a nest so that it can be moved if needed or roped off and protected if it is in a good location. You will notice the first eggs located between the two volunteers and that the potential nest area is marked off with pink flags.  The pink flags are placed there by our morning ATV rider to help the volunteers locate the nest.

We recreate a new nest in a safe location to the exact measurements and using sand from the origional nest. We place a wire grating over it and rope it off and return the beach to normal.
