Momma on the beach June 25, 2020

Thursday June 25 was the first solo morning ATV ride for volunteer Sue. What a great morning for her! She spotted a momma on the beach in the 400 W block at sunrise. Doesn't get much better than this! It's rare to see a momma in the daylight. She called out the stranding team that watched and protected the mother until she went back into the ocean. A volunteer team later found and moved 93 eggs to a safer location. This is nest #33 for this year.
