The HBTP received good news on Friday. The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehab Center in Surf City had a turtle release. One of their recent releases was a male Juvenile green sea turtle named Terry. He was found cold stunned here on Holden Beach and rescued by our stranding team on May 3rd of this year and taken to the sea turtle hospital. He was treated for debilitated turtle syndrome.
