Yes we have turtle nests on our beach. Lots of turtle nests. It was a slow start but we've had 10 new nests in the past 4 days! As of today we have 30 nests on Holden Beach. You may wonder how this compares with other years. On June 19, 2025 we only had 12 nests. Our total for the season was 35. On June 17, 2024 we had 27 nests. Our total for that season was 67. So this year is similar to 2024. If the mommas keep coming like they are, we can hope to have over 60 nests this season.
