Our first nest of the year!posted: May 20, 2014, 5:03 PM We're excited to announce our first nest of the year laid this morning (Tuesday May 20)! There were 157 Loggerhead eggs and it was relocated. We will begin watching the nest for hatchlings on or about July 9th. Note the yellow tape around the nest? This is our new "code". Yellow means the nest was laid in May. This was the first nest in Brunswick County this year.
