Finally some action!

We've been waiting for nest #1 to hatch. It was laid on May 20 and the team has been watching it since July 9. Last night 2 hatchlings went into the ocean. There are 151 eggs unaccounted for in this nest. Nests 2 and 3 are being "collared" today and we hope to have hatchlings withing the next week. Our #16 nest was found this morning with 136 egg moved to a safer location. Two more weeks of Children's Turtle Times and we'll be doing Turtle Talk through the end of August.
