Two nests closed

Nests #10 and #11 closed last night. It's interesting that they both were laid on June 30 and both got a depression on the same day (last Thursday) and both hatched that same night about 8:15 p.m.
Both nests also had a great boil!
The team from nest #10 found one hatchling in the nest...it raced down the trench and into the ocean (see photo). The team is still waiting for nest #9 (also laid on June 30) to hatch. Nine more nests to go.
We have not had any sighting of a mother turtle in over two weeks....so officially the nesting season is over.
