Sad day for Turtle Patrol

We lost one of our own--Paulette Wade-passed away on October 2 after a long summer of fighting liver disease. She was unable to help with turtles this summer--but always asked how the patrol and the turtles were doing.

Donations may be made in Paulette's name to the SECU Hospice of Brunswick County. A memorial will be held Sunday October 19th from 1-3 p.m. at the Winding River Beach House on Holden Beach, a place Paulette loved.
