The last nest has hatched!posted: October 18, 2014, 8:12 AM It’s happened! Nest 19 had its first emergence Friday morning October 17 when 17 turtles popped out of the sand between 8:00 and 9:00 AM . The team will be at the nest every evening until next Wednesday, Oct 22 when they will close. It’s at 363 OBW. There were 34 eggs in this nest, so hopefully there will be more hatchlings to see between now and Wednesday! Everyone is invited to stop by. |
