Magic # 19

We had Loggerhead nest #19 this morning. The team moved 133 eggs bringing the total known eggs for this year to 2047. What makes this nest special is that 19 was the total number of nests the entire season last year.....and we still have at least two more months when mother turtles could lay eggs. Will we meet or beat our record year of 2013 with more than 73 nests? That is yet to be seen. But this is good news for the turtles!
