Plans for 2019!

It's almost turtle time for 2019. The Holden Beach Turtle Patrol's Annual meeting is set for April 13, 10 a.m. at the Holden Beach Town Hall. Officers will be elected and new members welcomed. If you're interested in becoming a Turtle Patrol member don't wait until this meeting. Now is the time to contact our Project Coordinator (see Contact Us link).

Dates have also been set for Turtle Talks. They will be each Wednesday evening during June, July and August. The first Turtle Talk will be June 5 and the final one August 28. Turtle Talks start at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.

Children’s Programs will be held on June 26, July 3, July 10, July 17, July 24 , July 31 and August 7. Program begins at 4 p.m. These are special programs for children ages 3 and 4 and 5 and 6.

Sea turtles have already begun nesting in Florida. We expect to see them here on the North Carolina cost in mid-May.
