Nesting Season

The 2022 sea turtle nesting season is "officially" over for the Holden Beach! It has been over 14 days since we've had a mother turtle appearance on our beach. That makes 64 nests for this year!
That doesn't mean the turtle season is over. There are still 26 nest on the beach that have not hatched. We anticipate being on the beach "watching" nests until early October.
