Turtle Season will be here soon!posted: February 9, 2024, 4:56 PM The 2024 Turtle Season on Holden Beach will start on May 1.If you're interested in becoming a HBTP volunteer, now is the time to apply. Send a message to Pat Cusack our Program Coordinator from this website's Contact page or directly to coordinator@hbturtlewatch.org for an application or to learn more about qualifications and requirements. Typically, a new volunteer will be a "trainee" for an entire summer. Being a trainee involves working on the beach both morning and evenings, shadowing current members and attending educational programs. The annual meeting for the Holden Beach Turtle Watch Program, Inc will be Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Holden Beach Chapel. The turtle season on Holden Beach runs May 1 through October 31.
