Turtle Season over for 2024

Well, our final nest boiled on September 24! This nest had a total of 54 babies hatch!
This brings our "unofficial" total of hatchlings for the season 5385!
We had 67 total nests and 7278 eggs laid on Holden Beach.

If you still haven't gotten your 2024 "Celebrating 35 Years of Helping Sea Turtles" shirt---there are very limited quantities of short sleeved shirts left. But we do have some long-sleeved shirts--perfect for this weather. You can get shirts at the LIghthouse Gift Shop on the causeway and or by ordering on-line (see SHOP on this website.) We're not ordering more shirts---when they're gone they're gone.

Also, thanks to the 20 folks who entered the design the 2025 T-shirt contest. The winners and the design should be announced shortly.
