Momma on the Beach June 2021

Friday night June 26, 2021 our stranding team got a call at 11:31 pm from a vacationer.
The team got there just as the momma started to lay her eggs. They could see in the hole and watch the eggs drop.The moon was out and it was a beautiful site as she went back to the water. The next morning a team went out and found the nest, 139 eggs were moved to a safer location. This is nest #28 for the year. These eggs should hatch sometime the week of August 15.
